■ Product Description

Spray-applied rapid-curing rubberized asphalt waterproof coating is a high‑performance waterproofing, seepage‑control, anti‑corrosion, and protective coating produced by a special process that combines ultra‑fine, suspended, micro‑emulsified modified anionic emulsified asphalt and synthetic polymer (Component A) with a special curing agent (Component B). After mixing and reaction, a high‑performance coating is formed.

In short, the main components of spray‑applied rapid‑curing rubberized asphalt waterproof material consist of two or more types of high‑performance modified emulsified rubber asphalt and a chemical coagulation accelerator, forming a two‑component system with rapid initial setting characteristics.

■ Coating Characteristics

  1. Spray application technology provides high efficiency, seamless coverage, and prevents water channeling. It is particularly suitable for irregular or complex geometries and is very simple and convenient to apply.

  2. Strong adaptability to substrates: can be applied to reinforced concrete, profiled steel sheets, plastics, various masonry materials, etc.

  3. Surface preparation is simple; no leveling layer is required unless special conditions exist. Can be applied directly when substrate humidity is below 80%.

  4. Continuous operation during application. Contains no volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odourless, non‑toxic, no exhaust emissions, environmentally friendly, suitable for enclosed spaces.

  5. Excellent weather resistance, acid/alkali resistance, ageing resistance; no protective topcoat required, effectively reducing project costs.

  6. Service life exceeds 50 years; can be used at temperatures not lower than 5°C. Outstanding peel resistance and puncture resistance.

  7. Forms a film within 3‑5 seconds after spraying, can be walked on immediately, with elongation exceeding 1500%, 95% recovery, and effective sound insulation.

  8. Multiple application methods (spraying, brushing, etc.) – flexible and simple – can meet requirements for various environments such as drains, parapets, corners, cracks, etc.

  9. Extremely high elongation – solves leakage caused by stress deformation. Rapid spray‑curing forms a film quickly, preventing water channeling.

  10. High puncture resistance due to the rubber component, providing excellent extensibility.

  11. Excellent chemical resistance and temperature tolerance. While conventional bitumen membranes typically have heat resistance of 70‑90°C, this spray‑applied rapid‑curing rubberized asphalt material exhibits rubber‑like properties, not bitumen. It has excellent extensibility and elasticity, so high‑temperature resistance is very good, overcoming bitumen’s shortcomings. Because of the high rubber content, low‑temperature resistance is also excellent. Both high and low temperature properties are outstanding, similar to polyurea. However, compared to polyurea, it may not have the same high strength but offers much better flexibility.

  12. Can be applied on damp surfaces because the coating itself contains water. This is similar to polyurea – both fast‑curing materials (seconds to tens of seconds) have limited penetration into the substrate. Therefore, adhesion to the substrate (typically around 0.5 MPa) is not as high as polyurethane, which is a relative weakness – adhesion to the substrate is not very strong.
