Description

Product Introduction

Wet‑laid waterproofing membrane is made from active substances as the main raw material, with appropriate amounts of auxiliary materials, anti‑aging agents, accelerators, and other additives, through mixing and calendering. It is a waterproofing product that can be applied on damp substrates. The membrane contains special active substances that react with cement mortar or cement paste, achieving full adhesion to the substrate or structural body.

Product Features

  1. Low requirements for the substrate condition; high construction flexibility. Not affected by weather changes; can be applied on damp substrates.

  2. Significantly shortens the construction period and reduces costs. Two application methods available: wet‑laid and pre‑applied.

  3. When using the wet‑laid method, it achieves full adhesion to the substrate. When using the pre‑applied method, it achieves full adhesion to the structure – reliable bonding, safe and environmentally friendly.

Scope of Application

  1. Waterproofing of basements and roofs in industrial and civil buildings.

  2. Waterproofing of subways, highways, railways, bridges, and tunnels.

Construction Method

  1. Clean the substrate surface. The substrate may be damp but without standing water. For wet‑laid construction, a dry substrate needs to be pre‑wetted with water. For dry‑laid construction, apply primer directly on the dry substrate.

  2. Prepare polymer cement mortar using ordinary Portland cement of grade not lower than 32.5R. Dry‑mix the polymer masterbatch with cement at a weight ratio of 1:10, then add water to form a slurry (water‑cement ratio 0.4). Mix with an electric mixer for 1–2 minutes, then let it stand for 5–8 minutes before use.

  3. Evenly spread the prepared polymer cement mortar onto the substrate with a trowel. While spreading the mortar, lay the pre‑applied/wet‑laid waterproofing membrane on top, expel air, and roll to bond firmly.

  4. Overlap adjacent membrane sheets. During application, remove the release liner from the self‑adhesive edge and press directly to bond. Finally, seal the edges with a special sealing compound.

Precautions

  1. Store membranes in a dry, ventilated environment.

  2. Different types and specifications of membranes shall be stored separately. Storage temperature shall not exceed 45°C. When stored flat, stack height shall not exceed five layers; when stored vertically, only one layer.

Packaging & Storage

This product shall be stored in a cool, ventilated, dry place
