描述
■ Product Introduction
SBS modified bitumen root‑resistant copper base waterproofing membrane is made of bitumen as the main material, with high‑elastic styrene‑butadiene rubber or low‑temperature resistant chemicals added. A composite copper base (copper ions have a root‑killing effect) is placed in the middle, and the outer layer is composed of polyethylene film. This product provides waterproofing and root‑resistance functions, filters sediment, prevents loss of nutrient soil, drains excess water, and stores a certain amount of water for plant growth. It is a multifunctional waterproofing and root‑resistant membrane integrating waterproofing, root‑resistance, filtration, and water retention.
SBS modified bitumen root‑resistant copper base waterproofing membrane uses copper sheet or polyester felt as the carrier, with chemical root‑resistant agent‑added SBS/APP modified bitumen as the coating material, and polyethylene film, fine sand, or mineral granules as the release liner. It has excellent root‑resistant properties. In addition to outstanding waterproofing performance, because the membrane contains a copper carrier or special chemical root‑resistant agent mixed into the SBS/APP modified bitumen, it effectively prevents plant roots from penetrating the waterproofing layer, thereby ensuring the service life of the waterproofing material.
■ Product Features
-
The membrane has dual functions of waterproofing and preventing plant root penetration. It can withstand root puncture and maintain long‑term waterproofing performance.
-
It prevents root penetration without affecting normal plant growth.
-
Excellent elongation and high tear resistance, accommodating structural creep.
-
Resistant to mold and good weathering resistance.
-
Outstanding high and low temperature resistance, suitable for both cold and hot regions.
-
Can be supplied with an additional self‑adhesive layer to improve workability during installation.
■ Scope of Application
This membrane is suitable for use as a root‑resistant layer on planted roofs and on underground building slabs that require greening, ensuring that plant roots do not damage the structures below that layer, while also providing waterproofing.
