■ Product Introduction

TY single-component polyurethane waterproof coating is produced through polyurethane terpolymerization and chemical modification, which changes and improves the application performance of polyurethane waterproof coating, increasing adhesion strength, weather resistance, low-temperature flexibility and water impermeability. It overcomes the disadvantages of traditional polyurethane coatings such as being non‑environmentally friendly, poor weather resistance, and inability to be applied on damp substrates. The coating is available in black, grey‑white and white, which can be selected according to engineering design requirements.

■ Scope of Application

Used for waterproofing of buildings and structures, such as roofs, toilets, bathrooms, roads, bridges, culverts, underground works, and waterproofing/seepage control of equipment and pipelines.

■ Application Method

Before application, clean the substrate and treat panel joints and expansion joints properly. First apply one coat of coating on the substrate. After it becomes surface‑dry, apply the second coat while simultaneously laying one layer of reinforcing fabric (non‑woven or fiberglass cloth), then apply at least three more coats of coating over the fabric. Each coat uses 0.4‑0.5 kg/m². The fabric shall be laid flat and pressed firmly, without air bubbles or wrinkles, with overlaps of 5‑10 cm (refer to XT‑301 polymer waterproof coating application method). For bathrooms, basements and other waterproofing works, if the surface has no joints, the reinforcing fabric may be omitted, but it must be added around pipe roots. Acceptance shall be carried out according to the technical code for waterproofing engineering.

■ Directions for Use

1. Apply by roller or brush.

2. If the coating is too viscous for convenient application, add up to 8% water, mix thoroughly, and use immediately; do not store after adding water.
