■ Polyester Composite Waterproofing Membrane

DTM polyester composite waterproofing membrane is made of ethylene‑vinyl acetate (EVA) or thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) as the main material. The upper and lower surfaces of the membrane are laminated with non‑woven fabric using a special process. During installation, a dedicated bonding agent from Ouxi Jianke is used, forming a tight waterproof layer between the membrane and the cementitious material to achieve excellent waterproofing performance.

■ Membrane Characteristics

1. The most notable feature of DTM waterproofing membrane is its three‑layer structure, which greatly improves mechanical strength. The material is soft, elastic, has good conformability, and is easy to install.

2. The specially processed non‑woven fabric forms a three‑dimensional interpenetrating network layer, providing good adhesion for the bonding agent.

3. When installed with the dedicated bonding agent, the bonding strength can reach the required standard of 1.5 N/mm.

4. After installation, the surface of the membrane can be directly decorated or finished.

5. Construction does not have special requirements for the substrate moisture content – as long as there is no free water on the surface.

6. The product is harmless, non‑toxic, pollution‑free, and environmentally friendly.

■ Transport and Storage

1. During storage and transport, products of different types and specifications shall be stored separately without mixing. Protect from sun and rain, ensure ventilation. Storage temperature shall not exceed 45 °C. When stored flat, stack height shall not exceed 5 layers. When stored upright, only a single layer. Avoid contact with acids, alkalis, oils and organic solvents.

2. During transport, prevent tilting or horizontal pressing. Cover with tarpaulin if necessary.

3. Under normal storage and transport conditions, the shelf life is one year from the date of manufacture.

■ Installation Method

The product is installed mainly using a special high‑efficiency adhesive powder (a companion product). Installation is convenient and fast, with no special requirement for the moisture content of the substrate – as long as there is no free water. The cementitious adhesive can directly penetrate into the mesh of the membrane surface, curing together with the cement to form a strong, permanent bond.

■ Scope of Application

1. Suitable for waterproofing, seepage control, damp‑proofing, vapour‑proofing and pollution control in construction, water conservancy, environmental protection and transportation sectors.

2. Roofing, underground, bathroom, shower room and other building works.

3. Reservoirs, dams, cofferdams, canals and other water conservancy projects.

4. Landfills, wastewater treatment plants, metallurgical and chemical waste containment and other environmental protection projects.

5. Bridges, subways, highways, culverts and other transportation works.

6. Roof gardens, green roofs, landscaping and other projects.
